So I ventured over to my favorite cafe to get a make-your-own salad today and basically just threw $10 into the trash.  I got what seemed like a delicious mix of beans & veggies over a bed of spinach and mixed salad greens with oil & vinegar.  It was not!!! 👿 Everything tasted old and icky.  Even the beans tasted sort of slimy…

  • asparagus
  • tomatoes
  • green olives
  • beets
  • sprouts
  • carrots
  • cucumbers
  • garbanzo beans
  • broccoli
  • hearts of palm

I only ate about 1/2 my salad, which seems like a huge mistake right now.  I feel absolutely foul right now.  I had a couple of rye crisps to try to settle my stomach and 1/2 a Nature Valley bar, but that did not help.  Really, really feel vile.  C’mon people… fresh veggies!!!  By the way… apologies on the poor quality of pictures.  I’m using my cell phone since I’m at work and it does not take photos well.

That stinks 😦 I love salad so much, and it’s so sad when I end up with a bad one!

I’m sure you’ll have more delicious food tomorrow though! Happy Halloween 🙂
