Thanks for visiting Stevia ‘n Spice! This is my first blog, so I apologize for the simplicity and/or any problems that might come up… That being said, here’s the lowdown of what I’m hoping to accomplish.
I’ve been interested in cooking and baking for as long as I can remember. I just love the creativity involved in experimenting with new dishes, as well as the technical nature of preparing food (ie. what makes bread rice, how to properly dry and can food, etc.) In addition to this, I love being active – whether that means outdoor sports or just working with my hands doing needlepointing, crocheting, etc. I wanted an outlet where I could integrate some of my passions – cooking, crafts, fitness, nutrition and learning – and so came about this blog!
I will attempt to keep track of new dishes that I make, fun activities that I do, and cool projects that I’m working on; posting tips along the way. I believe in a healthy mind-body balance, and so you may see posts discussing articles and books that I’ve read. Ultimately I am hoping to put all of these ideas together into a book that will be a compilation of recipes, craft ideas and any tips on fitness and nutrition that I learn about. Enjoy!
